"I have a 96 Johnson 150 OceanRunner, I bought this boat about three months ago, right after I bought boat I had to replace sending unit and water got inside fuel tank, took it out and boat ran about 10 minute and dropped on it's face, figured out that problem, cleaned tank and carbs, new gas and boat started and ran fine the next trip, the last time I took it out engine started and ran fine, idled out of no wake and powered up to 4000 rpm to for about 10 minute trip to ship channel, when I powered back down heard a wierd clicking sound coming from engine, and engine dies, thinking that maybe it was fuel problem, I drained seperator which had very little water in it and engine fired after choking it a few times, engine powered up and ran again for abour 10 minutes @4000 Rpm and when I powered it back down it died again, this time started running really rough and died, tried starting engine and would not stay running, noticed that engine would run while ignition switch was in start position but would die as soon as I would release key to Run position, moved throttle level up a little and engine cranked and rpm's shot up but died again as soon as I released key, since then I can not even get it to fire, some plugs fire every now and then and some do not at all when engine is being turned over, I replaced Ignition switch and still doing same thing!
