96 evinrude 48 horse

I have a 96 model Evinrude 48 SPL that fires off both cylinders for a moment, then only one. Any ideas what problem could be?

What is the compression? Does spark jump 7/16"?

Do you know which cylinder is not firing,while engine is running pull one wire at a time to isolate it,but first follow previous thread
