96 evinrude 112 spl

I have an evinrude 112 spl out board. While on the lake I was running at full throttle, when all of the sudden the engine just died. the engine has been running fine up until now. Now it cranks when i turn the key but will not fire up. I did notice gas coming out of one of the hose from the primer solenoid when I tried to start the engine today. Any suggestions on where to begin to start as I am a novice with these engines

Check for spark.-------Kill switch checked ?

check fuel supply to engine,look for loose wiring, bad connections.corrosion on connecters etc.
