95 Sportwin Full Throtle Sputter

"Motor is acting like it is flooding out at full throtle....however, it will run for a little while at full throtle then it will just sputter....when I slow the motor down it does fine. Also, seems like when it sputters at full throtle, I can squeeze the bulb on the fuel and it kinda straightens out....any thoughts would be helpful."

Fuel starvation due to
Defective fuel pump,
dirty filter perhaps,
some other restriction in fuel pick up,
air leak into fuel line.

If pumping the bulb gets it going OK and runs OK at first prob not dirty carb."

"I'll try the fuel pump....is there any way to tell, just by looking at it, if it is bad? I've cleaned the filter and checked the lines...all looks ok.

"just a side note.....those 9.5 are notorious,for having a bad exhaust seal....u might run it w/the cowling off...."
