95 Honda 50A Chokes Out Accelerating

"Engine starts right away, idl

"Engine starts right away, idles fine, revs up in neutral to about 4000 rpm, but when in gear and accelerating it chokes out at 2000 rpm. If I ease back on the throttle it will continue to run, but if I continue to give it throtle it will choke out completely. It will immed. restart.

Any help will be appreciated. Is this a carb problem?"
