"I have checked compression on
"I have checked compression on all cyclinders and all are 105 +- 15psi. Getting enough fuel to make all plugs wet. Spark seems good on all 6 cyclinders. My troubleshooting manual has pointed me in the direction of the stator. Testing the power coil on orange to orange/blk its expected to have 55 ohms Ihave 52ohms, getting 1.6 VAC from the orange to a clean engine gound during the cranking test(manual says no needle movement expected), also getting 32 VAC from orange to orange/blk during the cranking test(expected 50+). I have checked for a grounding condition within the whole harness and none found. Manual leads me to belive stator is bad are there any other tests to confirm this, my experience up to now has been if you have spark the stator is working. One other comment last season my regulator burnt up could this have effected the stator?? Is there any other conditions I can check before making this purchase??? Thanks to anyone who can help....
