I am completely new to this site and to boating. I recently bought a boat with an 8hp outboard. The throttle handle came off and all the parts went for a dive. I managed to get the parts and pull it back together. It runs just as strong as before....no problems however it won't run at low rpms......idle. I have to crank it up a bit and then shift it into gear. Any ideals? There is....maybe an idle adjustment "cap" on the end of my throttle handle but it doesn't seem to turn at all.
