my problem is that when i put the motor in forward gear it will not go but if i put it in reverse gear it will go so my question is do i have a messed up gear and if so is it easy to repair? i can actually hold it in a certain spot in forward gear and sometimes it will catch but will not stay in gear. HELP PLEASE

That motor has a slightly different clutch set-up than " normal " on small motors.-------------------Take it apart and look for broken driveballs ( forward ones ) in the lower unit.----------Not a hard job to do yourself.---------There are 4 of these balls in total.
