what does the voltmeter read on battery charge voltage when it fails?what does voltage read at 3000 rpm or so?

"Thanks for the reply,I bought a new rec/reg and in the box they had some good tips on how to check the circuit.A simple check across the rec/reg red wire and each yellow stator wire with an OHM meter verified that the diodes were fried.Problem solved and fixed."
