I have 94 48 spl looking for t

I have 94 48 spl looking for the shift rod screw to release the rod. The manual (seloc) only refers to it being under the top cowling. I think I can see where it is Behind the bottom carb? but it is hard to get to. There are 2 small bolts. Which one do you undo? Do I have to remove the bottom cowling to get to it.

Remove the starter and you will see it!----or remove the cowling ( very easy ) on that side and you will see the screw.

Thanks guys for the info. It was right behind the starter. Have the new pump back on and back in the water.
