94 175 Johnson Fastrike power trim is weak. It trims up and down but very slowly. It is weak when out running, it trims up, but very slowly. When I trim down it bounces. the fluid is good, and I have raised and lowered using the bleed off screw dozens of time. And it still bounces. I have cleaned and corrosion x'd all plugs and connections. It is still weak and slow. When this issue with the trim started I also lost my tachometer.

The stator is new, the rectifier is new.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

You may have a grounding issue on the engine. Ensure all grounds from the engine to the battery have 0hms resistance. If you see values above 0 you need to track down cables and connections that might have internal corrosion.

If that is all good, then trim your engine to the max height and top off the trim reservoir tank with ATF. Next cycle the trim from full down to full up a few times, then re-check your level and top off if needed.
