"Last week the trim started all on it's own trying to force the motor down. The boat was parked in my driveway it was a warm sunny day (no rain) and all of a sudden I could hear the trim motor running. I pushed the up button and it stopped but if I let go of the button it would start again. I disconnected the power to the relay box under the engine cover, replaced both relays with spares and plugged the power back in, the down started again. I checked the wiring for any shorts and used my multimeter to check wiring and relays found no problems, check the resistance across the up & down switch at the motor side and found the up to be about 33 ohms and the down to be about 4 ohms. any ideas of what else to check.
Thanks in advance."
