'93 Sea Ray 3.0 carb problem

Either I need a carb or another rebuild kit installed. The rebuild kit will the 2nd in 2 years. Should I buy a new carb ? If so, suggestions on where to buy a new/reconditioned carb?

Have almost same issue with the 2bbl TKS carb on my 5.7L. Which carb do you have?. If same, at least in my case there is a build up of a hard deposit in the jets of the "emulsion block" that only yields to mechanical removal. This last time, I took the top off the carb, removed the emulsion block and ( in my case) used a #70 drill bit in a pin vise to carefully clean the crud out of the jets. Have recently changed fuel treatment product to an enzyme based one to see if that stops the problem.

Agree with kickers comments likely its either not getting fully clean or you are recontaminating it with junk in your fuel. Id make sure you get a quality kit. Verify the power piston moves freely. What do the plugs look like ?

i used a ultrasonic cleaner from harbor freght to soak the carb in cleaner
