"I have a 93 18ft four winns with a 120 johnson.
That runs great, while looking under the dash I noticed what looks like a warning buzzer disconnected. I connected it. When I turn the key on it makes a quick beep, like it is telling me it is working. Should I disconnect this or leave it hooked up? Anyone know what this is? I have no temp guage. Could this be the overheat alarm? I would hate to start the boat and something shorts out.

"Got another question about this motor. Does it have the tell-tale water jet from the top side? I guess some people call it the tattler. On the (looking at the back) right side just under the block, there's a threaded fitting. Tracing the hoses it connects to inside the cover, one goes to the bottom of the block, and the other goes to the top on the other side?
