93 15 hp kill switch

i have no spark at plugs black yellow wire goiong into ignition modual i think thats what it is called has no power i have a remote throttle shift control with a lanyard switch when i turn the key no power is on either wire on back of switch has a black wire looks like in and a black yellow coming out should i have power going in and out on this swith, tried to pull it out to trace the black wire but it is so short cant get switch out far enough to c whats up.does this switch break power or ground??? thanks for any help
 
There will be no power on those wires when you turn on the ignition !-------------The ignition is run off the magneto , not by 12 volts from a battery.--------------The " kill switch " grounds out the ignition to stop the motor.

i not sure on how to disconnect the black yellow wire without
cutting it the cdi box plugs in to a harness there is no way i can see on unhookin it , i sure the kill switch is bad thing run great and then one day no start i got a new ignition modual box (CDI BRAND], AND STILL NO SPARK I SEEM TO HAVE POWER TO YELLOW WIRES BUT NO POWER TO COILS ON RED WIRES, THEREFORE NO SPARK, WIFE GOT ME REPLACING PRESSURE SWITCH ON OUR PUMP 2NITE SO WONT BE ABLE TO GET TO MOTOR TILL 2 MORROW EVENING LET YOU NO IF I FIND ANYTHING, THANKS
 
i have no wiring dia. but my model no is j15reletb i cut the wires on the kill switch totake it out of the system, still no spark.this doesn't have a tiller handle it has a remote shift and throttle lever, use to be a sweet motor..
