91 mercury 75hp outboardon 91 Fisher trim and ignition wont work.

Everything was working fine. New batteries and everything. Fuel gauge never worked. There was a wire lose on out and I tried to find where it should connect to get the gauge to work. I must have shorted something as the trim at any of the three locations does not work and engine won't start. It worked just fine before that. Not sure if I blew a fuse our solenoid or what. Any help would be great.

I believe there is a breaker next to a panel of wires on a side of the motor I had a similar problem happen with my force 125 outboard and it fixed the ignition problem.

Should be a main fuse for ignition . On side of engine where power pack and coils are locared
