91 90 HP Force Power Trim Problem

My relay based trim unit will

My relay based trim unit will go up or down but not both. Have switched clicking relay with new but have same problem. Have switched various combinations of the three relays with same issue. New relay is same Mfg. (BOSH) but different part no.
Should I replace both??
HELP-HELP-HELP-----TOTALLY CONFUSED LOCAL MECH.

sounds like bad motor
 
replace BOTH relays. these cur

replace BOTH relays. these curcuits are strange. they backfeed thru opposite relay. both relays are involved in both directions. You may still have a bad one.

u will get up or down usually when one is bad
but they are clicking so it is wiring to the motor

DO NOT PUT GREASE ON THE RELAYS ALSO

"Want to thank all contributors. System worked after replacing both relays. Did test voltage on old ones and found good. Checked ground wires too. Found new part had minor difference in part no. Motors now put to bed for, hopefully, short winter after replacing lower unit lube and fogging cylinders.
