90hp vro

Hi folks i know this may seem strange to some of you but i just got my hands on a johnson 90hp vro (1988) outboard the two wires for the pump are still on the pump but i dont know where they should go any help much appreciated.
 
Have you heard this motor run ??------------------Wires loose on the VRO pump may mean that the pump is only used as a fuel pump and not a mixing pump.-----------You need to be sure ( ask the previous owner ) before you do major damage to the motor.-------Is there an oil tank with the motor ?----------Mix gas and oil at 50:1 untill you are sure of what is going on here.

wires are still on the tank but cut at other end
 
If wires are cut then maybe the motor is running without oil injection in service.-------------Run to a dealer to have this checked out.-----Might save you some $$
