"it is in up position. I get a click from the 2 cube shaped solenoid/relays. How do I "jump" the pump motor to see if it's the motor or something else? Please consider the fact I am an idiot and need very clear instructions. Thanks in advance.
BTW, this boat is in Florida on salt water but the engine is in the water ONLY while it is running, otherwise engine is up, out of water and sprayed with clear water and engine flushed.

"I recommend following the cable from the motor back to the tilt box. Somewhere along the way you will find a plug that you can separate and jump there. While you are at it, you will usually find that the plug is corroded, and that is causing the problem."

"What do you mean by the tilt box??? I said I was an idiot. Is the box very near the 2 cubed shaped solenoids/relays? I have found a plug with 3-4 wires that I jumped but no help.
BTW, noticed the metal on the motor/pump is corroded to the point where small pieces of metal/steel comes off. SHOT??? Where can I get for resonable price?
