90hp 93 mercury outboad trouble running

"new trigger or whatever year before last... at a idle speed it would die..... replace spark plugs, fuel pump. now at 3000 rpms it runs pretty good but at 3500 or above it will rev up a little and then die..... any guesses about what the problem might be. has 450 hours tt..... errol"

"sonds like maybe a carb problem,try cleaning them out,problem is different then last year?If so,I would try that,does it idle?or does it stall out?it sounds like your running out of fuel,anybody else?a little help?"
