"GUYS,,,MY PROPELLER HAS LOST THE "PLASTIC RING" THAT ATTACHES TO THE EXHAUST OPENING OD. IT LOOKS LIKE SOME SORT OF WATER DIVERSION RING. WHAT DOES THIS THING DO???? THANKS ALOT"

"Called an 'anti cavitation ring' and is there to prevent exhaust going into the propeller blades which may happen in sharp turns. If an original OMC/BRP prop, You may just buy a new ring and smack it on. Put it in some hot water 1/2 hour before putting it on."
