"out 1980ish 90 horse is having trim issues. we have replaced all four lines as they were in bad shape(outer coating cracking off). we also had to replace one of the cylinders after stripping the theads on the fitting. well we get all of that done, nothing is leaking. however the motor now will not stay up. it will trim up and down nicely, but will not stay trimmed up in any position. we've followed the bleeding instructions per the repair manual to no avail. are the valves in the motor gone? prior to replacing that cylinder everything was fine. i really can't see this happening with the unit just sitting there. thanks in advance."
