90 black max 200hp won't start

I recently purchased a 90 astro f/s with 200hp mercury. Ran great the first 6 times out on the water, even while pulling tubes. This last weekend I stopped to switch riders on the tube and it would not start back up. Took it back to camp put on charger and first thing next morning fired right up. I ran it for a couple minutes on the hose then took it to the water. Fired up and ran great until it got warm, then started missing and wouldn't stay running. After that it would fire once and kick out. After getting it home I noticed that I was only firing on one cylinder. While checking ignition parts I noticed the blue/white wire on the stator was running 15k plus ohms. All others from the stator, coils,and trigger were within range. I replaced the stator and am still only getting fire on the same cylinder with a good stator. Is there a way to test the switch boxes? What else could be wrong? Any info would be greatly appreciated. I've changed plugs and put all new fuel line/bulb as well.
