Hi. Newbie outboard owner.
My late 80s early 90s 9.9 2St has had remote control fitted in the past. The engine parts are still attached and I hopd to reinstall the cables. I really want to take it to buts to clean and service first but the lower engine cover is quite restrictive.
How do I go about removing it? I've noticed 4 nuts on the underside and loosened these but I feel that they are not the answer as it is still not budging.
Any help appreciated. I'm sure that I will have more questions in my quest to bring this motor back to a healthy state.
