It does't matter. Just make sure the s/plug is tight.

You want to index the spark plugs? That is only relevant on engines that have the plugs installed on the side of the head so as to face the spark toward the top of the cylinder's fuel/air charge. Even if you could index them you would never notice any difference in performance w/o using sophisticated gauges and metering to measure the changes.

Found the site with the information. Aligns the same as all new E Tech motors.

9.9 it greatly reduces plug fouling during trolling.
