9.9 hp four stroke

Hello,
I got a 9.9 that has had a lot of fingers in it,now customer brought boat
To me(a john Deere tech)..... The motor idles and starts great but has a severe
Hesitation when revving up,most time it dies. Im not familiar with the choke
System and not sure if it has an accelerater pump.first is like to know if the hosesare hooked
Up to the right fittings.fuel pump is fine. Thanks

On those motors it's typically junk built up in the carb jet/passages from sitting un-used for so long that's preventing good fuel flow. If you have the model number PM me and I can probably find the service manual for it and send it to your email. Do you have anything like Amsoil PowerFoam to clean out the carb bowl, jets and passages?

Ive soaked it in carb cleaner that we use at the shop for lawn and garden,skidoo,arctic cat carbs ect.
