I have a 1981 evinrude that I bought new I have never had any problems until now it acts like the carburetor is loading up so I rebuilt the carburetor that was not the problem its still acts like only running on one cylinder as I'm trolling long it'll kick in like its1981 again any suggestion on my problem put new spark plugs in lt one will look really clean the other one looks a little dirty l have not ran a compression check yet or check the spark I'm hoping only a coil is bad

Yes, you need to check compression and the spark with an open air spark checker; then I would go to Leeroy's ramblings and get a lot of info from that. You can Google that up. Good luck
