9.9 4stroke 2000 Throttle grip

I haven't used it in a long time. the rubber grip was split and fell off and the screw, spring, and 2 washers were completely loose. how do I put this back together. I think there should be a nut but not sure how to take this apart to fix. does the screw hold the grip on or does the screw go under it?
