9.9/15/20 2 stroke / 4 stroke Transom clamp compatability

Ok here is the deal ...


Will the transom clamps and the pivot tube from a 2 stroke fit a 4 stroke

The transom clamps for an M9.9D2 are the same as the ones for an M18E2. There isn't any listing for a 20 hp 2-stroke.
They will fit the old-style MFS15/18B2. They are different than the ones for the MFS15/20C.
Remember that the early 9.9 4-stroke was a de-tuned 15, but then the 9.8 replaced that model, and the 15C joined the bigger-frame 20C in size/weight.
