9.8 110 spark plugs

I have a 1969 mercury 110 9.8 hp that came with champion j8c spark plugs.the marine engine parts blowup shows NGK buhw 2 and the NGK catalog shows NGK 5110. Also do I use 50 /1 fuel oil mix?the serial number is 2621746
 
Use 50:1 mix with a good TCW3 oil. Not sure on those NGK plugs; I se Autolite 303s in mine. Don't use a plug that's too hot or you'll have detonation problems.
