9.5 Evinrude ignition question.

I recently bought a 1973 9.5 hp Evinrude that has been out of use for many years. The throttle wouldn't turn, in inspecting it the coils had what seemed like wax oozing out and sticking to the ignition plate and around the fly wheel shaft. I took everything off, points, coils, condensers, spark plug wires to redo with new parts. Well I didn't pay enough attention as to where everything should go back. My question is which coil and points go to the top cylinder. Thanks for any assistance.

The one closest to the front is the top cylinder.

Thanks, that is the way I set the spark plug wire. Does it matter which set of points connect to the front (top cylinder) coil? If so which ones, the ones to the left of the coil looking from the front or the ones to the right looking from the front. Thanks again.

Thanks again, I thought it would matter but could not fine any information as to the correct way to wire it.
