9.5 dies when comes off wot

I have a 73 evenrude 9.5 sportwin I put new coils in and sanded the points and set them to 20 th. just popped the carb top half off and it looks good in there the carb was very clean and it looks like the needle and seat was replaced. now the only problem im having is when you run at high speed then slow to trolling speed it misses and dies but when you get it to run again it will start with a little effert and like magic it will troll for hours could it be my condensors getting hot or maybe a bad plug wire
