8hp on transum

hi, i'm sort of new to this. i have a 92 murc 8hp, and a 12 foot aluminum seanimph boat.
my question is. can i travel with the boat on the trailer, and the 80lbs 8hp mounted on the boat.
i see others doing it, but mine seems to wigle, and bend the back of the boat, i don't want it to start leaking, or break the transom offff. the boat says it rated for a 10hp...any thoughts would be helpfull....

Re-enforce your transom.------------------------Traveling on the water is tougher on it than travel on the road !!!

I don't travel on the road w mine. I have a '93 8hp on a 12' John boat.
