I have a 1984 8hp mariner outb

I have a 1984 8hp mariner outboard it starts and idles fine but I am not sure it is pumping water. Does this motor have the small water stream hole like the newer engines? If not how can I tell if water is pumping through engine.

Yeah this will have the pee hole you need to connect muffs on it then run it and water should come out.
