89 Mariner 115 warning buzzer

I have a 115 2 stroke Mariner that the warning buzzer was going off upon cranking. I have unhooked the light blue wires attached to the bottom of the oil reserve tank and thought that was the issue as after I did then started the engine and the buzzing stopped. I put it back together and ordered a tank. I went out to use the boat again and after that as I thought I had it figured out and now after a few minutes the buzzer comes back on then may go off for a minute then back on again. It is pissing water so that part appears to be working. Any other ideas? Thanks

I put it back together and ordered a tank.

If you reconnected the tank switch it will keep on going off.
