i have a 100 mariner engine th

i have a 100 mariner engine thats getting no fire to the plugs. the boat and motor was given to me. so i have no clue were to start. but its getting gas and i have put starter fluid in it and it steal wont start and the plugs have gas on them.

Option 1 - Spend 35 bucks for a Seloc's manual and troubleshoot the ignition.

Option 2 - take the motor into a Merc dealer and have them troubleshoot it for 120 bucks an hour

Option 3 - give the boat and motor to someone else and let them deal with it
