"I have owned this for about 2 years and this summer while at WOT the engine dropped 2 cylinders, continued to run fine, then it would run on all 4 for an hour or so then drop 2 again. This will suddenly happen at any speed. I have replaced the plugs, all looked ok, cleaned the carbs, fuel filter and checked the wiring on the engine. This doesn't happen everytime out, so I am thinking it's a short somewhere? Where?"

"Check Your pluggs to se if You may determine which plugs/cyls that fails.
On same side: may be powerpack, bad connections etc. (ign related)
On top: check fuel pressure, might be upper carb.
On bottom: Check the plug wires are properly clamped to the heads and sparks does not jump to the cowling locks! (or loose plug wires). Check lower carb"
