Just bought this old boat and motor. Was told the compression in the motor is good and the motor runs strong, once I get it started. But it floods out easily when I am trying to start it and I find fuel covering the hoses and electrical in front of the motor after I try starting it. Do I need to rebuild the carburetor? Are there seals that need replaced? Is there a particular manual that would be recommended to help me figure this out? Any guidance or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
