89 Johnson 25 pull start conversion?

I have a 1989 25 horse Johnson with electric start. Would love to use the electric start but the previous owner stripped the threads that mounted the starter to the block. The whole area where the bolts thread in are pretty much destroyed. Was wondering if this motor could be converted to pull start. Doesn’t look like it can but was wondering if there was any feedback on this topic. Please and thank you for any advice.

Many left the factory with pull starter.------May need a recoil and mounts for the recoil.--May need a manual primer too.-----May need a taller cowling with hole for pull handle.----Donor motor is the way to go.

can you put a helicoil in.

They tried a helicoil in both the front bolt hole no longer exhists and the back helicoil came out. May take it to a machinist and see what they could do.
