89 15hp stalls when I attempt to throttle

Thanks Jupiter what year was your motor anyway?

I have 3 of those.
The one I was mentioning on this thread is a 79, I also have a 74 and a 76.... I figured if can manage to get 2 of them running at the same time, I can always go boating while I work on the other one.
By the time I get all three running fine, I'll be almost as sharp as Joereeves! (wishful thinking) lol

Following up as promised on the 79 that liked to stall after a full throttle run.... ran it full blast for a while (and a few times) and it never stalled, or wanted to, after rolling back the throttle. So all is good with this one now. Thanks again to all, particularly Joereeves and racerone.
Racerone, it might have been a case of needing more than one stab to get the carb clean as you mentioned.
