"here i am again, i am at a to

"here i am again, i am at a total loss. complete rebuild of the carbs last fall, and it still dies out before planing. if i hold the choke in it seems to get better for a second or two then just dies out and wont restart. its getting penty of fuel. qestion could it be electrical?, it seems as though something is heating up and then shutting down. i get good blue spark on a tester, it runs great in the yard but under a load it breaks down. any ideas?
thanks
ted"

"At the idle timing setting &#

"At the idle timing setting (whatever your service manual states), the scribe mark on the cam must align with the carburetor throttle roller dead center.

If the carburetor butterflies start to open sooner, that will cause a hesitation at a minimum and can cause the engine to die out.

The timer base under the flywheel. If this item sticks at any point as the throttle is advanced, the same problem results."

"Hey Ted,i am new to this boar

"Hey Ted,i am new to this board and was reading your post.I also have the 89 110 vro and am having same exact problem you are.Have been told by many carbs have to be done, which i'm in the process of doing but you said you had yours done and its still doing the same thing.I did the same thing as you with the choke and it would run fine wot until i shut it down then it would do the same thing all over again.Would be curious to know how you made out with yours,if you have a minute sometime. Thanks John. PS when that thing does run for a few minutes it will rock my 17'Skeeter bass boat."
