i have a 88 dt150 and today wh

i have a 88 dt150 and today while out the engine studders upon throttling up.... hard to put it in words but a run run run run run.........but if i let off the gas and get bk on it a few times it's fine a nice ruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuun.

new filters new fuel lines from tank to engine...cleaned carbs.
also i saw the tach at 4k and only 30 mph.that cant be right.also the rev limiter light comes on about 4k.
now i am thinking something electrical.
any ideas?

ok i found the problem......it

ok i found the problem......it is the rev limiter...left side water flow sensor is broken and right side was disconnected......fixed that problem but now it's not pissing like it was and the rgt side flow sensor works but wont sht off i am guessing no water flow uo throught the t-stats....i guess i need an impeller.
i am awaiting a book i ordered.
is there a water pump and an impeller?

the pisser water flow gets very hot about 150 degrees accordint to a thermometer.
any help appreciated

ok all figured out......t-stat

ok all figured out......t-stats i need.........ran in today w/out stats........engine never got above 100F and sensors shut off......problem solved.
