My tach went out and I am looking to replace it. I would like to use a tach that is smaller than the standard 3+" that I have now. I found a digital tach/hour meter I thought would be perfect but it is for 1 & 2 cylinder engines only. I cannot find one anywhere except an automotive tach. Will an automotive tach work on a 2 cycle outboard? Or a speedometer that is smaller. I have no room on my dashboard for anymore holes.
