It will start very easely and run as long as i keep pushing the bypass primer on the key. It will die if i don't keep pushing the key... Any help????

Having to use the primer to keep it running clearly indicates a blockage in the carburetors. The primer takes fuel directly from the fuel pump ( obviously it is working ) and sprays it into the intake manifold.----It bypasses the carburetors altogether.---So take the float bowls of the carburetors and find the high speed jet ( orifice on the parts diagram ) remove that jet and clean it.----You can likely get the jet out with a plain 3/16" diameter screwdriver.-The jet is about 5/8" long.

okay i am about to take the carbs off again and clean them again. About the vro. that would also be my fuel pump? correct? i really want to unhook it all together and just mix the fuel myself. Is this a good idea?
