88 merc 150 locked

Hey all, Still working on my merc. The #4 piston seems to be moving. when I turn the flywheel. The flywheel turns the amount of the timing marks,then stops. I took the lower unit off no problems there. Could something be hanging up the pistons or could it be some switch. Any help?

You are looking for a short cut -------There are none !!!!-------Take the heads off and inspect as to what went wrong.--The motor likely needs head gaskets anyway.
