88 Johnson 150

I have a 1988 Johnson. I replaced a little piece of plastic clamp that put my motor into forward and reverse. When I took my boat out this morning it would not run past an idle while it was in gear. The motor tried to stall out. If I put the motor in nutural it ran fine when you reved it up. I must have hooked up some linkage incorrect. Any one know where I can get a drawing for this throttle? It is on my bass boat and has a hot foot to give it gas. I worked fine until I changed that new plastic piece I mentioned above. Any Ideas?
Thank You in advance
Steve

Thank You for answering my post, I tried my best to get you a picture. I am not computer smart (70 years old) so I am still working on it for you. I did learn from a google drawing the part I replaced on my engine is called a "Shift Arm Link". I thought I hooked everything correct like I took it off but now My boat will not run past idle in gear it wants to "dog out". in nutural the motor reaves up fine. I am still working on that picture for you. Getting old really sucks!

Resize your photo to under 1Mb. An easy way is to use the “attach files” button, at the bottom left of the screen you are typing in.
That will give 3 options. If you use option 1, (photo library), you will navigate to where your photos are on your computer.
Select the photo, (even if it’s a large file), then at the bottom, you will see OPTIONS. Click that, & you get a choice of Large, Med, or Small. Select one of those & it will give the file size. If it is less than 1Mb, (1000Kb), click ADD, (at the top right corner), & it will attach the photo to your post.
