"Normally, placing a large punch, chisel, block of wood, something, between the impeller blades, then hitting it with a good size hammer breaks that impeller loose from the plastic retaining key and driveshaft.

If not, then you'll need to cut away a portion of the rubber impeller and split the impeller hub with a chisel.
