I have a 1987 75hp Mariner gre

I have a 1987 75hp Mariner great shape runs strong.Was wondering whats a good sell price?

"Well built motor - good design, should get you somewhere between about 500-1500 bucks depending on where you are and the cosmetic appearance of the motor - although this is not a popular horsepower any longer.

The low end price would be for a rough looking motor or in an area where 2 strokes are pretty much banned (lot's of lakes kicking them out).

Your target market is probably 15/16 foot aluminum fish/ski style boats - if you can sell into that crowd you may make a good buck...

NADA pegs the value between 200 and 300 bucks depending on whether or not it has power trim/tilt - that's maybe what a shop would give you in trade (if you could find one to take it)."

The value lies solely in the market, and that market is drying up..."
