86 johnson 6hp wont start

Motor ran fine when when I put it up. Sat for two years tried to start it ran for a little then died. carb is fine spark is there but nt it is to me weak, u can barly see it I think it is electrcal. Had a guy tell me might be the cdi box. When runninn at full throttle it is missin and it well die after about 1min of runnin. And u play heck tryin to start it. Any help sure would like to here.
 
If it sat with fuel in the carburetor it will plug things up.------------Spark if good will easily jump a gap of 7/16" with a snap you can hear.Laying plugs on the block is NOT a good test for spark, it is merely an indication that there is some.---------Water pump is working ok ???----------------My bet is on something that was overlooked in the cleaning of the carburetor.-------Carburetors must be taken apart for proper cleaning !!
 
Ill take carb back off might of missed something. I always run them out of gas when im done usin them. the carb was rebuilt before it sat that long.
