86 16ft tracker/ new 60/40 merc ?????

I am putting a 60/40 merc jet that runs about 300 poundsim thinking and putting it on a 86 16ft bass tracker I'm wondering if I will have any weight issues if any body has any info on this match up would be highly appreciated.

I'm not sure exactly what it's width is. it is rated for a 50 HP motor and Max weight with gear etc. Is 900lbs thanks for your reply

its going to set low in the water with 300 pounds.....but its usable...a regular 50 is perfect for that boat ...

OK that's what I was wondering if it would still be run able with the weight difference. They once had a kicker attached with the old motor wich was a old 500 series merc so I'm not sure if it would equal out I have no clue what the old motor would weigh. U also was wondering if my old motor could be parted out on this Web page it has a good jet pump and other usable parts it's just that I lost a cylinder is why I'm replacing it
